You never know who you’ll meet under the mistletoe. This year, UConn Nation gets kisses from our very own Jonathan, who embodies Husky pride all year long. Watch as he gets into the holiday spirit:

Dear students and colleagues, To the newest members of what we call “UConn Nation” – welcome! I hope you’re already settling in and finding your way in this truly remarkable University. With over 6,300 new Huskies joining us this year, we continue to be a destination for the brightest and most accomplished students from around the country – and, indeed, from around the world.
I recently participated in an annual event titled "A Conversation on the Future of UConn" held in the newly opened Next Generation Connecticut Residence Hall here on the Storrs campus. It was a wide-ranging discussion with members of our community about where we are now as a university and where we want to go in the years ahead.
Every UConn Husky is a cherished member of our family. That's especially true during this time of celebration and togetherness. So, to everyone in the UConn pack - may the season bring you abundant joy and the promise of bright tomorrows. The Husky spirit is catching this year. See for yourself right here:

This is a time of year for family: both our loved ones at home, and the broader connections we make in life. This year, our UConn family has plenty to celebrate, whether in the classroom, in the lab, or in competition. And while we celebrate, we look forward to a new year with many more joyous, fruitful experiences to come.
The women's basketball team and its travel party will leave Nashville on a 12:45 p.m. EDT flight today, and is expected to return to Bradley International Airport at about 3 p.m. There will be no public event at the airport.
The Huskies will then return to the Storrs campus for a National Champions "Victory Lap” beginning at about 4 p.m. Players will ride in an open-air double decker bus and will be accompanied by the UConn pep band and cheerleaders.
