As a reminder, you are required to attend at least one ECE professional development workshop every other year to maintain your certification. Dear Early College Experience Classics Instructors, I know many of you have been asking about a date for the ECE Classics workshop for 2025–2026. At this time, no workshop is scheduled, as Prof. Johnson is on sabbatical this semester. If anything changes, we will share an update with the ECE listserv.
My apologies to all! I have still been hoping to schedule a workshop but have been slow to schedule.
I know it is getting later in the semester, but Stefanie, is there any availability in the Student Center at any time up until May/June? I am not sure whether we will be able to use the space in Herbst Hall as before, Jennifer has been discouraging it. Or perhaps this could be the year for an online workshop, if we are doing one year online/one year offline. I do know that most of us prefer meeting in person.
Good Morning, I am a newer teacher to CAMS 1103, currently in my second year of teaching the course. Additionally, I am the 5-12 ELA/Reading Coordinator for my district. As such, I am responsible for introducing new courses, particularly in grades 9-12. As we've added additional UConn courses at Lewis Mills, CAMS 1103 is somewhat of a unicorn. As I appreciate professional collaboration at many levels, I reached out to UConn for a list of schools offering this course and was directed to this listserv. I am reaching out because I would
