Happy Almost Summer Everyone,

The annual Maritime ECE cruise on the Project O vessel is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8th from 4-6pm. If you haven't been in the past, this is a great opportunity to mingle with ECE colleagues and MAST faculty while enjoying the CT coast on the Project O vessel. We do need a head count so if you are interested please let me know as soon as possible. You are welcome to bring a companion. We just ask that you do not bring children under the age of 10.

Hi all,
One of your colleagues is interested in integrating into her course events associated with the 1629 sinking of the Dutch East India Company ship Batavia. Can any of you recommend resources on this incident, or can you offer any teaching tools you've used? Feel free to respond to me or directly to Kara: [log in to unmask]
Thanks in advance!
